Calcium handling in the iPSC-CM model
Channels.cellml is the main CellML file which incorporates the handling of calcium within the cell. Its associated SED-ML file contains all the simulation settings.
To execute the code, all the files related to this channel need to be downloaded in a same folder:
- fig10_Ca.py
- Channels.cellml
- Channels.sedml
- parameter.cellml
- unit.cellml
To reproduce Figure 10, save all the files to the same folder and execute the following script from the command line:
$ cd [PathToThisFile]
$ [PathToOpenCOR]/pythonshell fig10_Ca.py
A, baseline model the calcium transient. B, relative contribution of calcium from ISERCA, INCX and IPMCA to the calcium transient during a single AP in the baseline mode. (Blue: 62% SERCA, Red: 31% NCX, Yellow: 7% non-NCX (SL-pump))
